Couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with Green Thumb Bonsai. John was very knowledgeable without coming across as a know it all. It was wonderful hearing his story and spending time with him. His selection is wonderful and his prices are reasonable. I left with two junipers and a boxwood and can't wait to go back for more. I'm glad I made the hour and a half drive to find this treasure! Please go see John if you are in the market for a Bonsai he has something for every level of commitment.

Had a great time shopping with John again today! Be sure to call and talk to John before you go, because his trees are at his house. I was coming through with my RV and always call ahead to assess parking. John offered to pick me up at the nearby Wal-Mart even though I was towing my car and could have unhooked it and driven. What a great guy! There's a huge selection of pre-bonsai and some nice, developed bonsai as well. Check out the mica pots and forest trays! Go for the trident maples if nothing else...or shop on his website and have it shipped. Go if you're close!

Love this place! They specialize in field grown trident (hedge) maples but also have junipers, boxwood, and tropicals. Prices are good. Shop local!
